Residents of the Georgino Andrade neighborhood in District VII, will be benefited for the third consecutive year by the Streets for the People Program, with the construction of 8 new blocks, which will be covered with asphalt, the work will improve the living conditions of 1,255 families, who for more than 30 years dreamed of having these streets.
The Georgino Andrade community is one of the 7 neighborhoods that will benefit from the program in District VII. Once the road improvement project is ready, the neighborhood will have 70 percent of its streets covered, as reported by the Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, during a tour to supervise works.
"This work is totally changing the neighborhood, we are seeing how the residents of the sector begin to enjoy their 8 new streets, Commander Daniel instructed that an investment of 5 million 770 thousand córdobas be made in this work, to give a lot of security and comfort to the population of this area, with the execution of this project, the Streets for the People Program reaches an advance of 13.24 percent with 135 blocks served”, said Armas.
María de los Ángeles Reyes, a resident of the community for more than 30 years, thanked the Good Government for the construction of the streets.
