Residents of the Villa Libertad Annex inaugurate Streets for the People

With the presentation of rhythmic bands, families from the Villa Libertad Annex in District VII, inaugurated a road improvement project together with the capital authorities, through the Streets for the People Program.

The work consists of the construction of 268.54 linear meters, equivalent to 3 blocks through asphalt coating that were previously on the ground, with an investment of 2 million 759 thousand 227 córdobas, shared the Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, during the delivery of the work.

"Committed to Nicaraguan families, this is part of the fulfillment of our President and Vice President, Compañera Rosario, with her people, here we have delivered 19 Decent Homes, but we are also delivering 3 blocks of streets, previously a storm drain for an investment of one a little more than 17 million córdobas, only in this sector, where 14,200 brothers live,” reported Rueda.

He also highlighted that in this District VII the Municipality, through the Streets for the People 2022 Program, has served 61 blocks, with an investment of more than 42 million córdobas. In addition, a significant investment of more than 700 million córdobas is planned for 2023 in the continuity of road improvement, storm drainage and sanitary projects.

"Before, in an emergency, nothing would enter here, not even the caponeras, but now the neighborhood looks beautiful thanks to God, our President and Compañera Rosario," said resident Silvia Vílchez.
