With an afternoon of children's activities, the renovation works of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park were inaugurated, which are part of the promotion and support provided by the Sandinista Government to the recreation and healthy recreation of Nicaraguan families.
These maintenance works consisted of the replacement and installation of pieces for children's games, replacement of the synthetic floor, the ornamentation of gardens and platforms; as well as the installation of LED lights, which had an investment of 3 million 300 thousand córdobas.
During the inauguration, which was presided over by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, he stressed that since 2007 the Sandinista Government has directed the rescue and rehabilitation of this emblematic park in the capital, which is now recognized as the best family attraction in the country. .
“Inaugurating a large number of improvements that the Government of Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario have made to the joy of children, youth and parents, here at Luis Alfonso Velásquez Park. This year the Mayor's Office of Managua is going to maintain more than 100 parks in the capital”, informed Armas.
In this second stage of the Revolution, 7 construction phases have been developed in the 25 blocks of this family recreation space, which now has various first-class recreation areas.
