Mayor and Vice Mayor make a tour of festivities on the eve of the descent of Santo Domingo

On the eve of the descent from Santo Domingo de Guzmán to the capital city, the building authorities made a tour on the night of July 31, through the traditional festivities of the managuas.

This tour began in the San José Oriental neighborhood, with the traditionalist “Culonas Cows”, where there were bullfights and the election contest for the candidates from district 4 to queens of the patron saint festivities, ending with a popular festival to the rhythm of philharmonics. and musical groups.

Likewise, the Mayor Reyna Rueda and the Vice Mayor Enrique Armas, visited the traditional Vela del Barco in the San Judas neighborhood, where the election of the candidates from district 3 to queens of the patron saint festivities was held, which will conclude with the Municipal Contest, the Saturday, August 4 at the Rubén Darío National Theater.

This tour ended at the house of the family of the traditionalist Lisímaco Chávez (RIP), where typical meals and "chicha de a las 7 quebradas" were distributed; All the visits saw the fervor and joy of the capital's families, who celebrate on the eve of the 10-day visit that they carry out every year from Santo Domingo de Guzmán to the capital city.
