Families of Los Cuarezma in District V will have 12 paved blocks

On the morning of this Thursday, March 9, authorities in the capital carried out a supervision visit for the 12-block asphalt coating project that is being built in the Los Cuarezma region, through the Streets for the People 2023 Program.

The road improvement work will benefit 2,004 inhabitants and has an investment of 6 million 303 thousand 840 córdobas, which will guarantee the well-being and future of 286 families in this community, who have also benefited from the delivery of 5 Decent Homes, as reported Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales.

"Finally, these 920 meters of asphalt are going to be converted into 12 new streets, with which we have already reached 125 new streets in Managua, on the instructions of Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario, this will mean 13 percent progress today. in the Streets for the People Program, to the joy of the residents of Las Colinas and the Los Cuarezma region,” said Armas.

In this area of Los Cuarezma, the municipality has invested more than 12 million córdobas in recent years and only in District V with the 2023 Annual Investment Plan, 20 projects will be executed that will have an investment of 40 million córdobas, to benefit the neighborhoods of Germán Pomares, 30 de Mayo, Enrique Lorente, Walter Ferreti, Blanca Segovia, United Nations, Santo Domingo, Pantasma, Giorginito, Colonia Centroamérica and the regions of San Antonio Sur, Las Jagüitas and Esquipulas.

While the Streets for the People Program, in its first stage, will invest a little more than 29 million córdobas in this District V, in the construction of 53 blocks in 8 neighborhoods, benefiting 22 thousand protagonists.
