Installation of grass in the new national stadium takes 15 percent

The process of engraving the playing field in the new national stadium began two days ago and is 15 percent complete, one month after its inauguration the last details are being prepared, as reported by the Secretary General, Fidel Moreno, together with the winning formula of the next municipal elections in a tour of the facilities of the sports colossus, which is almost ready to be inaugurated on October 20.

“The stadium is almost finished, it is 99.2 percent complete, the grass will be finished in 7 days, with that it would be ready. The final works have to do with details such as the perimeter wall, the parking lot, the access squares, the internal streets, final paint finishes, on the playing field, the last thing you see is the grass, but there are 4 layers filtering, with its an irrigation system ”, explained Moreno.

Reyna Rueda, Secretary of the Managua Council, explained that the last details are being prepared to deliver to the people of Nicaragua the most important sports infrastructure of the last 30 years.

Vice Mayor Enrique Armas explained that all areas of the new national stadium are state of the art.

“The stadium is impressive, it is the best in the entire Central American and Caribbean area, it is a 35 million dollar stadium, our players and all the players who come to the country to play, will be able to enjoy playing conditions that only They are seen in the major leagues, once it is inaugurated, games of the Latin American baseball series will be played here at the end of January and February of next year, and we could also talk about world series of baseball, in other words they begin to be written new pages in the history of Nicaraguan baseball, ”said Armas.
