Merchants celebrate rehabilitation works at the Roger Deshon market

With a cultural and sports presentation, capital authorities inaugurated the rehabilitation of the Galerón El Bailongo, located in the Roger Deshon market in the San Judas neighborhood, in District III, on the morning of this Tuesday, December 19.

This space, which is used for community, recreational, sports and cultural activities, was delivered by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who announced that the project had an investment of one million 231 thousand 319 córdobas.

“The entire roof was changed, you can see that it was very nice, general maintenance was done to this entire area, to the electrical system, the walls were painted, this is a multipurpose room for all the brothers in the area, not only the used by the brothers of the market, there is a dance and judo school here, since it has given good results to the Sports Directorate of the Mayor's Office of Managua, in recent years, it is also a place that is used for municipal councils," stated the mayor of the capital.

Freddy Casco, general director of COMMEMA, highlighted that this year 80 million córdobas were invested in the 8 municipal markets, this Wednesday they will be delivering storm drainage works in the Carlos Roberto Huembes market and on Thursday the Los Masayas gallery will be inaugurated , located in the Wholesale market.

The infrastructure works are part of the investments being developed in the 8 municipal markets, through COMMEMA, to provide better conditions to merchants and families who visit these popular shopping centers.
