What is?

This service allows to register in the Civil Status Registry those people who got married.

It can be carried out by either of the two spouses, any person over 18 years of age with an identity card that contains a power of attorney to carry out this procedure.

Where to go?

At the People's Civil Registry windows, located in the Zumen Civic Center, Module “A”, ground floor, district delegations IV, V and VII.

Your hours of operation: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

  • Photocopy of the identity card of both spouses.
  • Photocopy of the birth certificate of both spouses.
  • Photocopy of ID of the person who carries out the procedure.
  • The cost of the procedure is the rate established by the building authorities (Current value: C$ 97)

Requirements (Act Abroad)

  • Original of the marriage certificate issued by the Nicaraguan Consulate in the foreign country, it must be legalized by the General Consular Directorate in Nicaragua; o Marriage Certificate issued by the Civil Registry of Persons of the country of origin, which must be legalized or Apostilled.
  • Photocopy of the identity card or passport of both spouses.
  • Photocopy of the birth certificate of both spouses.
  • Photocopy of ID of the person who carries out the procedure.
  • The cost of the procedure is the rate established by the building authorities (Current value: C$ 97)

Important

If the documents to be presented are in another language, they must be translated into Spanish by means of a Public Deed by a Notary who has been incorporated for more than 10 years.
