Changes to the taxpayer registry

What is?

This procedure is carried out when the active taxpayer wishes to make changes regarding the Modality of Payment, Activity, Address, Category, Office Closings, Temporary Closings, Definitive Closings, Company Name or Re-coding of the RUC No. and updating of Identity Card.

Where to go?

You can go to the Citizen Attention Centers located in Plaza Cuba, Dennis Martínez National Baseball Stadium and Avenida Bolívar, district delegations, Single Window of Investments (VUI), ServiGob.

The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, without closing at noon. The Citizen Attention Centers are open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Letter from the Taxpayer requesting the change.
• Business or Activity Request Form.
• If it is due to Activity Changes: Be up to date with your municipal taxes.
• If it is due to Change of Payment Method of Accounting Records to a Fixed Fee: On-site inspection of the business by the Supervisors or Inspectors of the Taxpayer Registry Office.
• If it is due to Changes in the Modality of Payment of Fixed Fee to Accounting Records: Be up to date with your municipal taxes and present a photocopy of the first pages of the Diario y Mayor accounting books, duly registered in the commercial register.
• If it is due to Changes of Company Name: Be up to date with your municipal taxes and be subject to what the PAV establishes in the Artos. No. 11 and 13.
• If it is by Recoding of RUC No. Present original and photocopy of the RUC No.
• If it is due to Address Changes: No document needs to be presented.
• If it is for Definitive Closures: Be up to date with your municipal taxes and on-site inspection of the business by the Supervisors or Inspectors of the Taxpayer Registration Directorate and the performance of Pre-audit by the Supervisory Directorate.
• If it is for Temporary Closures: Submit a letter addressed to the Head of the Taxpayer Registration Directorate, stating the causes of the temporary closure, an on-site inspection of the business must be carried out by the supervisors or inspectors of the Taxpayer Registry Directorate and be up to date with your municipal taxes.
