Judo Academy of the municipality reaches its third anniversary

With great successes obtained throughout these years, the commune's Judo Academy celebrated its third anniversary, with a championship this Saturday, June 8, in one of the headquarters located in the Róger Deshon market in the San Judas neighborhood, in the District III.

The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, attended the celebration, who shared with the players and coaches the growth and fruits obtained from each of the athletes, who made the decision to train in this sporting discipline.

"We are on the birthday of our Judo Academy, three years with a lot of dedication and love, serving all those children, young people and adolescents who have believed and have that opportunity to practice the sport they like, from this academy we already have a champion Central American and that gives us a lot of joy and commitment to continue motivating families, we have 35 academies with 13 sports disciplines and we have the judo discipline here in Roger Deshon and also in the District VI facilities, we are celebrating with a championship where Four academies are participating, including UNAN-Managua, San Judas and Leones Azules,” said the mayor of the capital.

Yahoska Ortiz Hernández, coach of the municipality's Academy, highlighted that they serve children from 6 to 19 years old, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday hours from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

"Many have come here for behavioral, behavioral and character problems, it is focused on channeling all that energy, all those insecurities, when a child is too hyperactive this sport helps them, the parents have been satisfied with their children because they have had a great progress,” said Hernández.

The athlete Sebastián Mojica said that this sport helps a lot in discipline, in addition to motivation, mental and physical health, “we have gone outside the country to compete in the Central American and Olympic games, we have been working hard, we thank the Government, because "It supports us both in facilities and transportation, our main objective is always to leave the country to represent Nicaragua."
