Wide and comfortable streets will allow greater access to the Tierra Prometida neighborhood

The children, young people and older adults of the Tierra Prometida neighborhood of District III, celebrated on the afternoon of this Thursday, April 25, the asphalt coating with cement soil of 11 blocks, through the Streets for the People Program, streets that were previously only considered like alleys, because they are narrow and will now have more width, allowing comfort for the vehicles that circulate through this sector of the capital.

The welfare project turns 6,430 inhabitants into legal protagonists, as announced by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales.

“An investment that benefits the residents who live in this area, the taxi driver brothers will now be able to enter without their vehicle being damaged, they are wide, beautiful, well-made streets, in this neighborhood the Government of Commander Daniel has delivered 16 decent housing, more than 26 million córdobas have been invested in this area, from 2009 to 2024,” reported the mayor of the capital.

With the execution of this project, the emblematic Streets for the People Program advances with 24.81 percent, which represents 351.50 blocks served.

For her part, the protagonist Martha del Carmen López, stated that it was 32 years of waiting to see this dream come true, “this project fits me like a glove, these streets were horrible before, now they are completely beautiful roads, thank you to God and to our President who has listened to us poor people.”

The expansion and improvement of these streets will allow connectivity to continue, functioning as an alternative route for the detours that are made, due to the construction and modernization of Section I of the San Juan Pablo II Highway.
