UNA students celebrate World Book Day with an Educational Conference

Municipal authorities participated in an educational meeting, organized by the National Agrarian University and aimed at students of the different careers of this Alma Mater, in celebration of World Book Day, on the morning of this Tuesday, April 23.

The activity was developed in the Germán Pomares Auditorium of the UNA, with a conference given by the Master in Law, Danilo Álvarez, who addressed topics on the impact of new technologies, for the promotion of reading and creative writing, as well as with unpublished songs from the Camilo Zapata municipal choir.

“The Government of Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario guarantee free education for Nicaraguans at all levels, that is why today in the different universities, in schools, this type of day is being held, the life of the Nicaraguan in these times of revolution is directly associated with education and that is why we are paying tribute to the book, with fairs, conferences, activities similar to these," reported the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales.

At the same time, an expo-fair was held with a variety of written works, where guests and the general public acquired their books at affordable prices, with the aim of creating the habit of reading and enriching the knowledge of the new generations.

The General Vice Rector of this university, colleague Eva Gutiérrez Espinoza, expressed that, today, there is not only the physical material, but also the technological part, which facilitates information to maintain creative reading.
