Japanese volunteers will contribute their knowledge in different municipalities of the country

Representatives of the brother People and Government of Japan, presented on the morning of this Monday, March 11, 2024, five Japanese volunteers who will be working for the next two years in Nicaragua, in order to promote the development of programs and projects that contribute to the well-being of the country.

“A very special activity, because they are introducing us to five volunteers who come from the sister Republic of Japan, being a volunteer is a laudable task, it is love for one's neighbor and we as Nicaragua feel very grateful, specialists in different topics who will be located in some municipalities,” shared Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

Likewise, he reported that the municipality will have one of the volunteers, a specialist in environmental issues, "very happy to welcome him, we are receiving him with great affection."

The Japanese volunteer, Ryoichi Fujiwara, stated that he has a great interest in supporting the capital's commune, “excited, because I can help in Managua, Nicaragua and thank you very much for accepting us, I will make an effort to work, I want to help develop the environmental situation ”.

Currently in the country, there are 18 Japanese volunteers in different sectors such as health, education, environment and automotive mechanics, promoting learning and intercultural understanding.
