Comprehensive Storm Drainage Project is carried out in the 30 de Mayo and Villa Jerusalem neighborhoods

To give continuity to the different projects for the Winter Plan, the municipality carries out storm drainage works in the 30 de Mayo and Villa Jerusalem neighborhoods, located in District V, in order to eliminate critical points and improve the living conditions of the families, reported Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, during a supervision visit, the morning of this Thursday, February 29.

“Storm drainage works are being carried out along 8 blocks in this neighborhood. They are works that will also benefit Villa Jerusalem. In this area alone, 304 linear meters of pipe are being installed to improve drainage in the sector. "They are installing 9 drains, 106 home connections with their registration boxes, 584 linear meters of sanitary sewage, with an approved investment of more than 10 million córdobas, this will directly benefit more than 500 families and more than 3 thousand residents." , detailed the capital mayor.

He also shared that, for this year with the 2024 Annual Investment Plan in District V, the neighborhoods will be improved with 20 projects: Enrique Lorente, Enrique Gutiérrez, 30 de Mayo, Eddy Mayorga, 14 de Mayo, United Nations , Germán Pomares, Las Jagüitas, Los Vanegas and Las Enramadas region.

“A comprehensive project that includes streets, sewage, drainage, gutters, the work that the government of Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario has been doing in this entire area is impressive, there are thousands and thousands of comrades who benefit,” Armas added.
