Another section of 25 Southeast Street enabled in the capital

An important work was inaugurated by the municipality, on the afternoon of this February 22, by enabling a new section of 25 Southeast Street (stage III), which will speed up road circulation and avoid delays due to the construction of the San Juan Pablo II Highway. .

This new road corridor was delivered by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado and extends from the René Cisneros neighborhood to the United Nations Track, passing through the vicinity of the Nicaraguan Sports Institute (IND), in District I.

The mayor of the capital reported that, since 2021, work began on this runway, which goes from the Batahola Radial to the United Nations Runway, with a total investment of 223 million córdobas, connecting Districts I, II and III.

“The section that we are delivering today had an investment of 98 million córdobas, which goes from René Cisneros to the United Nations, it has traffic light intersections, 33 lights, this project also includes the storm drainage component, 120 linear meters of pipe, in addition From the construction of a bridge box, we have the construction of a gutter, curbs, platforms and 700 linear meters of perimeter walls on the South and North sides of the road,” Rueda explained.

Residents of this sector celebrated one more achievement that brings them well-being and security, allowing families to use this alternative route to save travel time in times of congestion.

“This will help during traffic hours, peak hour as we call it, it will serve as an alternative route to be able to travel better, we will not have delays when we go to or come from our jobs, we will be able to travel quickly,” said Enna Martínez. , resident of the Juan José Quezada Norte neighborhood.
