Completely rehabilitated 5 blocks of the historic El Triunfo street in District II

Families from the Santa Ana neighborhood in District II, gathered on the afternoon of this Thursday, February 1, to receive and celebrate with the municipal authorities, the road improvement of 5 blocks on Managua's historic runway, El Triunfo Street.

The important road infrastructure work was delivered by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who explained that the project directly benefits 1,667 families and more than 1,100 drivers.

"We are delivering these 5 streets to the brothers of Santa Ana, they are works that the companions waited for many years, a work of first quality, with an investment of 13 million córdobas, which not only benefits the residents of Santa Ana Sur and North, but also to the brothers who are going to the area of Las Brisas, Linda Vista and to the colleagues who are going to the new developments," reported the mayor of the capital.

Likewise, he highlighted that for this year there are important works in this District II and among the benefited neighborhoods are Julio Buitrago, Motastepe, Bóer, Cuba neighborhood and in the entire area of the Villa Virgen Guadalupe neighborhood.

The protagonists celebrated this restitution of rights, which they had waited for for a long time, “it turned out nice, very good, I will be able to circulate better, the children, the vehicles, everyone, I have lived here for 60 years, but only our Government could compose this,” said María Pastora Pérez, a resident of this neighborhood.

From 2015 to date, the municipality has invested 19 million 124 thousand 288 córdobas in the Santa Ana neighborhood in different works that have improved the quality of life of the capital's families, in addition to the construction of 31 Decent Homes.
