“Camilo Zapata” House of Culture and Creativity opens its doors to the public again

Providing new opportunities to develop talent in music is the objective of the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua, through the Camilo Zapata House of Culture and Creativity, which began registration for singing, piano, violin and guitar classes, on the afternoon of this Wednesday, January 23.

The Houses of Culture and Creativity are the spaces created by the Good Government, through the mayors, to promote the art and culture of the people, shared the Secretary of the Managua Council, Jennifer Porras López.

“Starting the registration of the 2024 school year, one of the houses that is characterized by having all the specialties in the subject of music, in singing, those cultural disciplines that are promoted by our Good Government, by Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario and we feel committed to complying with all these plans and programs that strengthen and create values in childhood and adolescence,” stated Porras.

Likewise, he invited families to come to the Houses of Culture and Creativity, to continue training new artists, "singers, poets, painters, there is a range of opportunities for new generations."

This Camilo Zapata House of Culture and Creativity will continue with registration during the month of January and has the capacity to serve more than 300 students.

“Very excited about these educational, musical, recreation and leisure spaces for all youth, for children, adults, there is no age limit here, today is our registration launch and we are going to wait for you until the places are sold out” said the coordinator of this house, Isaura Hernández.

All courses are completely free and inclusive, starting at 5 years of age, starting classes in the month of February.
