Skateboarding Academy begins training skaters in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez park

The production of pure adrenaline began for the members of the Skateboarding Academy in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, with the practices and training of the new year.

This academy will celebrate 2 years of training future athletes on January 30, who will participate in national and international events.

Noel González, Sports Director of the municipality, shared with the parents that the practices will be carried out with the security measures that this sport requires.

"We have had great growth in this sport in recent years, in Nicaragua there was a Central American event last year and we as the Mayor of Managua want to host events of this level, which is why we are already preparing these children every Saturday and Sundays, with our instructors and the support of psychologists, something that is essential,” said González.

One of the main objectives of the commune is to increase the number of children and young people who practice this sport and to achieve this, Good Government creates the necessary conditions.

“Registration is completely free, we have protective equipment and skateboards provided by the Mayor's Office, this sport benefits children, because skating is a way to release stress without using electronic devices,” said Noel Gutiérrez, instructor at this academy. .

Registration is completely free and practices will take place on Saturdays from 1:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon and on Sundays from 10:00 in the morning to 12 noon.
