Sports classes start in the 12 Baseball Academies of the capital commune

In order to promote the practice of sports and physical activation among children and youth, the Mayor's Office of Managua, through the Sports Directorate, began training at the Academies on the afternoon of this Wednesday, January 17. of Baseball, located in the different districts of the capital.

“Starting the activities of the baseball academies of the Mayor's Office of Managua today, with this colorful activity here at the Roberto Clemente national children's baseball stadium, the stadium that was built by the government of Commander Daniel to promote in style the little leagues in Nicaragua,” shared Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales.

There are more than 3 thousand participants who will be able to arrive from Monday to Friday, starting at 2 in the afternoon at the 12 baseball academies of the municipality, the classes are completely free and are taught by leading teachers in the sport.

“We are going to start the tournaments, the federated league has just finished, we continue training hard every day and continue working,” said player David Martínez.

These are the 12 academies of the municipality, the Roberto Clemente sports field in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park, the Hugo Chávez Complex in the 14 de Septiembre neighborhood, Georgino Andrade neighborhood, Nejapa, Villaprogreso, Américas 1, San Luis, Waspán Sur , Jorge Dimitrov, San Judas, El Dorado and Gadala María.
