Capital authorities present the Third Quarterly Municipal Management Report

The Honorable Council of Managua held the Fourth Ordinary Town Hall on the morning of this Thursday, December 21, for the presentation of the Municipal Management Report, corresponding to the months of July, August and September 2023.

Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado reported the progress and results obtained in this period, “the 2023 Annual Investment Plan of the municipality includes a total of 507 projects and programs, of which 97 projects were completed in the Third Quarter, in this way "We continue to contribute to the well-being and happiness of the leading families of our capital."

At the same time, he detailed that the investment in works and projects in the quarter was One thousand 722 million 78 thousand 356 córdobas and among the main results obtained in the components of municipal management is the execution of 114 expansion, reconstruction and street maintenance, 49 projects in the construction and maintenance of social infrastructure, housing construction, construction and maintenance of parks, fields, squares and promenades, including Luis Alfonso Velásquez Park, Paseo Xolotlán, Soberanía National Stadium, Complex Deportivo Alexis Argüello and the development of 27 storm drainage projects.

Likewise, he indicated that satisfactory progress is being made in the main emblematic projects such as the Bismarck Martínez Program, the rehabilitation of Las Piedrecitas Park, the rehabilitation of the San Juan Pablo II Track and the construction of overpasses.

Among other social, cultural and sports, environmental and cleaning programs and projects that contribute to improving the conditions and quality of life of families.

Finally, Mayor Rueda shared that in this Town Hall the progress of the quarter presented was reported, but at this moment most of the components are completed with great success, “we must feel proud and grateful to God because his grace has manifested itself.” In Nicaragua, through all the welfare projects for families, although it is true we have made progress but there is still a long way to go, the purpose of our Good Government is to continue accompanying them, to serve more neighborhoods and so that more families have that peace of mind, the commitment Ours is to fulfill them.”
