Good Government reaches 100 percent compliance with the Streets for the People 2023 Program

Building authorities visited the morning of this Wednesday, December 20, the road improvement project being carried out in the Gertrudis Arias neighborhood of District VI, through the Streets for the People 2023 Program and announced that the 1,027 new blocks built in the different neighborhoods of the capital.

This work was supervised by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who reported that the works planned for this year 2023 have been delivered to the protagonist families.

“We are already finalizing many of the components that we reflect in our Investment Plan each year and we are talking about a program that is highly demanded by the population, such as the Streets for the People Program and I want to tell you that we have already reached 100% of compliance Of what we had planned in the program, we planned 1,027 blocks and that is what we are already delivering,” stated the capital city councilor.

Also, he announced that for this year 2023, 2,440 million córdobas will be allocated to 151 road projects.

Likewise, he explained that this road improvement work being carried out in the Gertrudis Arias neighborhood consisted of the asphalt coating of 400 linear meters of streets, with an investment of 3 million 360 thousand córdobas, directly benefiting 304 families, "and we executed it "after having completed an important storm drainage work, which we carried out in 3 stages, to improve the living conditions of the families of this community."

From 2009 to date, the Good Government in this neighborhood has invested 25.6 million córdobas in the construction of 11 Decent Homes and the execution of road improvement works, storm drainage and the rehabilitation of the communal house, contributing to dignifying the conditions of life to its inhabitants.
