More than 30 instructors from the different combat academies of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, received certification from INATEC and the Nicaraguan Sports Institute, on the morning of this Tuesday, December 5, in the Japan-Nicaragua Park Auditorium.

Through this legitimation, each of the instructors are being accredited, true teachers who only needed this diploma, colleagues in Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, as reported by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales.

"For many years, colleagues have been working for the benefit of Nicaraguan sport, we are talking about table tennis coaches, people with decades giving boxing classes empirically, based on their experiences, like Gustavo Herrera who has produced champions of the world for boxing, but Gustavo does not have a coaching title and because of those things in international regulations, he cannot direct a world championship, today that is why they will receive their certification," said Armas.

The mayor of the capital highlighted that this year has been very successful in sports, medals have never been won in so many modalities and categories, as have athletes of different ages who have dedicated themselves to winning trophies, which is a source of Nicaraguan pride.

The Taekwondo instructor of the District VI academy, Janesky José Solís, thanked the Good Government for this great support, which is being provided to each of the coaches today.

“Our knowledge as instructors is supporting us, in our different branches that we perform, as well as in taekwondo, boxing, karate, judo and it is important because we become more professional in our areas,” said Solís.

This is the first delivery carried out at the national level in combat sports and among the first coaches who received their certification are Manuela López Téllez, Pedro Sánchez López, Luis Alberto González, René Aguilar Martínez, René Antonio Alvarado, among others.
