II Seminar on Updates and Advances in Construction Permits

In greeting to the month of urban planning and with the motto "Let's chart the path together towards sustainable and vibrant cities. Let's build the urban future we want!", the second seminar was held aimed at 64 managers and legal representatives, who process construction permits, in addition to the delegates and heads of the Environment departments of the capital's districts.

The training aimed to publicize the progress of the new zoning and land use regulations of the municipality of Managua, in addition to other topics such as the right of way, urban legal regulations and the use of Geographic Information System tools ( GIS) in urban management processes.

The event was attended by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who reported that this second seminar was carried out with the support of experts from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), “who came in previous months to train a work team from the "Mayoral office on this issue, experts in zoning, this guarantees us the good use of the land, making constructions in accordance with the regulations, but above all guaranteeing safety, to the brothers and sisters, who are going to make these constructions effective."

For their part, attendees were interested in the seminar, which provides them with the knowledge to more easily carry out the construction permit process, as stated by Engineer Daniel Jirón.

“This greatly strengthens our knowledge about the land use and zoning regulations of a city that is in constant development, such as Managua. We know that Managua is going through a process of growth and development, it is very important for us professionals. of the union the development of construction projects, always aware of the different regulations that are in place,” said Jirón.
