With a lot of faith, love, songs and a fireworks show, the Good Government inaugurated more than 50 altars on Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez in honor of the Immaculate Conception of Mary and with the cry Who causes so much joy?, the Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado and Compañero Camila Ortega Murillo, General Coordinator of the National Commission for Creative Economy, cut the ribbon.

Starting this November 28, Nicaraguans begin the novena of the Purísima, to culminate this December 7 with the Gritería, as part of the family tradition, as announced by Compañera Camila Ortega Murillo.

“On behalf of the President, Commander Daniel and the Vice President, Compañera Rosario, we are happy tonight to be able to tour these beautiful altars, altars to the Virgin Mary, that beautiful tradition of our Marian people of Nicaragua and we invite families to tour this Avenue from Bolívar to Chávez, where you can enjoy and celebrate this great tradition throughout this novena,” said Compañera Camila.

Mayor Rueda pointed out that this is an effort made every year by different institutions, so that love and affection for the Blessed Mother shines.

“A journey of love, of faith, a tradition of us Nicaraguans, of celebrating our Blessed Mother that is unique, only here in Nicaragua do we celebrate our Mother in a big way,” said the mayor of the capital.

Likewise, Rueda highlighted that there is a lot of security for families to enjoy each of the altars in peace and tranquility, which can be seen throughout the avenue.
