Exhibition of the Patron Saints 2023 begins on Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez

On the afternoon of this Friday, November 24, the Exhibition of the Patron Saints was inaugurated, in its seventh edition on Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez, a cultural event organized by the Good Government, through an inter-institutional commission.

In this exhibition, visitors will be able to appreciate the fervor and cultural identity, reflected in 149 replicas of saints representative of each of the country's municipalities (15 departments and 2 regions) and will be open to the public starting this Friday the 24th, Saturday the 25th. and Sunday, November 26, reported the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

“Happy to have the opportunity, 7 years now, this is already a tradition that drives our Good Government, with the opportunity we have that in one place we can have a moment of prayer with our Patron Saint of the different municipalities and departments,” the capital city councilor said.

The avenue from Bolívar to Chávez this weekend will be the best place to visit, shared the General Director of the Nicaraguan Institute of Culture, colleague Luis Morales Alonso.

“Managua has a splendid opportunity to get to know the culture of all corners of our country, because our Patron Saints are linked to the artistic, cultural, and gastronomic expression of our municipalities, our cities, traditional festivals are accompanied by music, dance, food, traditions, folklore, color, energy, smells and flavors,” said Morales.

Families will be able to attend the exhibition starting at 10:00 in the morning, where they will also be able to enjoy a gastronomic and craft fair, as well as cultural presentations.
