Future talents from sports academies receive equipment

For a healthy society full of values, the municipality continues to support and promote sports in the new generations, on this occasion with the delivery of sports supplies to the Children's Baseball Academy in the San Luis neighborhood.

The ceremony for the delivery of sports equipment was chaired by colleague Jennifer Porras López, Secretary of the Council of Managua, who indicated that these deliveries will be made to the 13 baseball academies managed by the commune in the 7 districts of the capital and which to date has been delivered to 5 of these academies.

Likewise, he highlighted that one of the policies that are a priority for the Good Government is being fulfilled, "since the second stage of the Revolution we have resumed this recovery of values of youth, of adolescence, through sports, art and culture and today it is up to our local government, the Managua Mayor's Office to be able to deliver, to the San Luis academy, to this baseball academy, the 3 categories that we have of youth, children and adolescents, between ages from 9 to 16 years old, who are training professionally in these spaces.”

The delivery consisted of gloves, bats, balls, catcher's equipment, base sets, among other supplies, which contribute to the training of the future promises of the beautiful sport in Nicaragua.

Denilson Ortega, a member of this academy, was happy for the support, “grateful to the Mayor's Office, through the Government, for promoting the development of young people, because by supporting us, both socially and physically, we are active here, because this contributes for young people to socialize.”
