Consultation on the Draft Municipal Budget culminates with contributions from the families of District VII

The presentation of the Draft Municipal General Budget and its 2024 Annual Investment Plan had excellent participation from families, ending this Tuesday, November 7, the consultative town hall with the residents of District VII of Managua, in compliance with the citizen power model and direct democracy, which the Sandinista government promotes.

This proposal of the Municipal Budget for the year 2024 is projected at 12 thousand 104 million 277 thousand 475 córdobas, which represents a growth of 26% in relation to the projection of the previous year and contemplates the execution of 518 projects, of which 223 road works , 103 storm drainage works, 12 environmental, 14 water and sanitation works, 124 urban equipment and 42 urban development.

“It has been enriching, we have learned a lot, especially with the invaluable contributions of the families to publicize the project before December, for the year 2024, which reflects the political will of our Good Government of Commander Daniel and our Vice President, Compañera Rosario to continue bringing improvement to the population, security and well-being, through all the projects that we are going to execute,” said Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

Likewise, he reported that for District VII, the proposal of the Annual Investment Plan contemplates the execution of 65 infrastructure projects, of these, 19 works will be executed by the District Delegation, 50 by the General Directorate of Infrastructure and 13 environmental projects; in addition to investments in public cleaning and human development, which will guarantee well-being and security to the 251,636 inhabitants of this capital district.

Among the projects to be executed is the improvement of storm drainage in the Villa Libertad Annex, with an investment of 4 million córdobas; the II stage of the storm drainage project through gutter lining in the Laureles Sur neighborhood, with an investment of 10 million córdobas; storm drainage work with gutter lining in the Israel Galeano neighborhood, with an investment of 5 million córdobas and the construction of a Tunnel Box in the Laureles Sur neighborhood, with an investment of 7 million córdobas.
