Municipality of the capital will renew the bearing surface on El Triunfo Street

The Mayor's Office of Managua, through the Streets for the People Program, began two weeks ago the renovation of almost 6 blocks of road surface in the section known as El Triunfo Street, located from the Santa Ana Church to the Northwest.

The road improvement project is 10 percent complete and will be ready in approximately three months, as reported by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, during a supervision tour of the area.

“Here we are going to install almost 6 blocks of new bearing surface, more than a thousand vehicles circulate here daily, this is an area that must be in excellent condition and these are the works that we are carrying out through the Streets for the People Program that directed by Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario, the investment will be greater than Five Million Córdobas and will benefit 10,000 residents of the surrounding area,” explained the mayor of the capital.

Likewise, he explained that, in the first weeks, the work is carried out very carefully so as not to damage the storm and sanitary pipes, when cutting and removing the existing folder that is deteriorated, and that once the base is built with select material, the new asphalt layer can be installed.

“This project was a demand presented by the residents, with these works that are being done here we are going to reach 638 covered streets, which represents an advance of 62.30 percent of the Streets for the People Program, in addition to this project we will build 19 blocks more in District II, through the program,” said Armas.

This year, the municipality, with the Annual Investment Plan and the Streets for the People Program in District II, is investing a little more than 26 million córdobas, to benefit families living in the Carlos Núñez, Las Brisas neighborhoods. , Motastepe, San José, Batahola Sur, Bóer, Juan Emilio Menocal and Villa Virgen de Guadalupe.
