Traveling on safe streets is the commitment of the Good Government, which through the municipality carries out the asphalt coating of 4 blocks in the Laureano Mairena neighborhood of District VII, a work that is part of the Streets for the People 2023 Program.
The work of the Common Good was supervised by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who shared with the families that they continue to work for more well-being for all, "here most of the streets were not attended to and we are gradually taking care of them, in this supervision “We are paving 4 blocks, but large, spacious blocks, where there was a lot of accumulation of rainwater, therefore, there was a lot of proliferation of diseases and this is part of bringing health to families.”
Likewise, he announced that the Streets for the People 2023 Program will execute 151 road improvement projects in 105 neighborhoods of Managua and plans to serve 1,027 blocks, with an investment of 2,440 million córdobas.
With this project, the capital commune will improve the living conditions of the more than 2,300 inhabitants of the sector, who previously lived on dirt streets, in poor condition and in unhealthy conditions, so this project contributes to significantly reducing the levels of environmental pollution, presence of dust, accumulation of rainwater and garbage.
In the Laureano Mairena neighborhood, from 2013 to date, the Good Government has invested 16 million 310 thousand 584 córdobas in the construction of 14 decent homes and the execution of 6 road improvement and public infrastructure projects, which have dignified the conditions. of life of its inhabitants.
