Nicaragua will participate in the Beach Volleyball World Championship to be held in Tlaxcala-Mexico

For the third consecutive year, the land of Lagos and Volcanoes will participate in the Beach Volleyball World Championship, an event to be held from October 5 to 15 in Tlaxcala-Mexico.

The young athletes, Rubén Mora and Dany López, who will represent Nicaragua in this World Cup, were flag bearers for their participation and placed in group E, along with the Australian squads 1 and 2, as well as Italy.

Bertha Cuadra, president of the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation, expressed that this sporting discipline is a project they have in conjunction with the Good Government and the Nicaraguan Olympic Committee.

“It is a project that has been carried out since 2013, now our colleagues Rubén and Dany are the ones who are going right now, they have already been in another World Cup, but in the minor categories in sub 19, sub 21 and sub 23 and the year In the past we were in Italy defending our national colors,” Cuadra reported.

For his part, Rubén Mora, pointed out that one of his goals is to win the first game and be able to advance to the group, since three from each team pass, "We are going to face world-class players, who are currently participating in the Paris Elite, two couples of those who are not in the group and we are preparing for this competition,” said Mora.

Pinolera's first appearance in a Beach World Cup took place in the 2019 edition in Hamburg, Germany, an event in which the female athletes Lolette Rodríguez and Swan Mendoza were present.
