Camilo Zapata House of Culture and Creativity brings together talented young people in a concert dedicated to the National Month

This Friday, September 8, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua brought together talented young people at the Camilo Zapata House of Culture and Creativity, who through the concert “Soy Puro Pinolero”, demonstrated their passion for Nicaraguan music.

The activity was carried out in tribute to the homeland, with songs by those great Nicaraguan artists who expressed their feelings to the land of lakes and volcanoes, leaving their legacy as a Nicaraguan cultural identity.

This cultural event was attended by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who reported that the concert was directed by students and teachers from this House of Culture and the Otto de la Rocha School, located in Bologna.

“The event is divided into two parts, we are going to have the participation of students and teachers, boys, girls and young people of various ages, including dear little autistic boys and girls and also classmates with different abilities,” said Armas.

Isis Hernández, teacher at this cultural center, expressed that she is proud of everything her students have learned in a short time, “it is never too late to learn, in this school I have students of all ages, sometimes I become a girl and sometimes I have to bring out my mature side to be able to help them, likewise, I have learned a lot from them and this has been a huge and rewarding experience.”

The Camilo Zapata House of Culture and Creativity welcomes more than 200 children, adolescents, young people and adults daily to receive classes in various artistic disciplines so that they can develop their talent professionally.
