With a cultural and sports afternoon, the inhabitants of Linda Vista Sur celebrated the renovation works carried out in the neighborhood field, located in District II.
When delivering the new work to the protagonists, the Secretary of the Municipal Council, Jennifer Porras López, reaffirmed once again the commitment of the Good Government to restore the right to sport and healthy recreation to all citizens of the capital.
"The rehabilitation of this field is part of our Annual Investment Plan, maintaining the recreation and leisure areas, where the family attends, is part of our commitment to provide support to children and youth," said Porras.
Among the rehabilitation works is the installation of new lighting, fiberglass boards, perimeter mesh and the installation of benches.
With this new work, the Sandinista Government guarantees the promotion of sport. As of next week, a soccer league will begin in which the youth, children and adolescents of the community will participate, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, as reported by Oscar Lanuza, coordinator of the league.
"We feel very grateful to our government, because now we will be able to play at night, we will have games three times a week and registration is open to all ages," reported Lanuza.
