Authorities from the capital supervise road improvement work in Villa Cuba

For more improved streets for the well-being of families, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua began the asphalt coating of 7 blocks in Villa Cuba, a work carried out through the Streets for the People 2023 Program.

This asphalt coating was supervised by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who explained that this work for the common good will improve the living conditions of more than 100 families in this neighborhood of the capital and will function as a means of communication between the Las Jagüitas region and this community of District V of Managua.

He also announced that, to date, this emblematic program has progressed by 42 percent with 433 blocks served and in this sector the Good Government has carried out road improvement works, storm drainage and the construction of 17 decent homes.

The inhabitants of the area were happy and grateful with the execution of this work for the common good, which once completed will allow them to move easily.

“Our Good Government that cares about us, since this project benefits us greatly, because it comes to unite Villa Cuba with the Las Jagüitas region; In addition, now we have schools close by, because before we had to make the big turn to go to the San Joaquín school and now this street makes it easier for us to go to this school,” said the protagonist Isabel Rivas.
