Hundreds of promisers accompany Santo Domingo de Guzmán on his tour of the Oriental neighborhoods

From the ITR sector in Ciudad Jardín, the Mayordoma of Traditional Festivities, Reyna Rueda Alvarado and the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, along with hundreds of promising and traditionalists paid homage to the Patron Saint on his tour of the Eastern neighborhoods, as part of the celebration of his day, Santo Domingo.

Hundreds of devout people paid their promises in the midst of an atmosphere full of fervor, merriment, dances, philharmonic music and gunpowder.

“This is an exciting moment, it is a traditional tour of every year, on August 4 with our Patron Saint, Santo Domingo de Guzmán through the eastern neighborhoods. It passes through the heart of the Oriental market, Los Ángeles neighborhood and its surroundings”, said the Mayordoma of the Traditional Festivals of Managua.

At the same time, he expressed that the organization and logistics to guarantee that the citizens of the capital can enjoy these 10 days of celebrations, was done with inter-institutional coordination together with the Committees of Traditionalists.

"We appreciate the trust of all the families in all the institutions that have worked together with our Mayor's Office and our Central Government, united to give families this pleasant moment, this moment of security, peace and harmony that reigns in our country, to celebrate our Fiestas de Managua”.
