Las Sierritas choose India Bonita from Managua's festivities

With a waste of culture and tradition, hundreds of residents focused on Las Sierritas de Managua to select the India Bonita that will represent the festivities of the Patron Saint of Managuas, on the afternoon of this Sunday, July 30.

The choice of India Bonita was accompanied by the municipal authorities, who stressed that the choice was difficult, because all the participants met the parameters established by the jury.

“We look at the girls how they respond to each of the questions and we feel very excited about the election of Indita Chiquitita and the queen that is being elected,” said Mayor Rueda.

Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales reported that the day was prepared many weeks in advance and that the participants were ready to answer the established questions.

During this contest, more than 20 young women from the different sectors of Las Sierritas participated and each of them dressed in beautiful traditional dresses, combed with two braids adorned with Sacuanjoche flowers, wearing necklaces, earrings and bracelets made by hand from natural seeds.
