







Authorities from the capital held a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, which is visiting Nicaragua, on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution.
The delegation was led by comrade Beslan Dzhopua, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Abkhazia, and comrade Iraklii Tuzhba, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, who expressed their admiration for the revolution, expressing their highest esteem for the Nicaraguan people and government.
Managua and Abkhazia have always strengthened their ties of friendship and brotherhood, mentioned the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
He also recalled that, in November 2021, a twinning and cooperation agreement was signed between the city of Sujum, Capital of the Republic of Abkhazia, and Managua, likewise, he highlighted the importance of this exchange in the cultural, sports, and agricultural areas, which that will contribute to the development of both towns.
For his part, comrade Beslan Dzhopua, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture, expressed that this visit is very pleasing to them, "our cooperation is just beginning and will progress more and more, because we have the same stories in our countries."
