Decent Housing continues to guarantee well-being and stability to families in the capital

Contributing to the integral development of the community, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, through the Decent Housing Program, built the new home of the protagonist Carmen Isabel López, inhabitant of the Carlos Núñez neighborhood of District II.

Doña Carmen Isabel and her husband are self-employed workers and they will live in their home with their two eldest children and a granddaughter, who waited 25 years to enjoy this moment, previously they lived in a house lined with zinc sheets, today thanks to the support and the commitment of the Good Government will enjoy better conditions.

"At the time of the Lord and the government, I never lost hope and faith that I was going to get a new roof, I feel very happy, with peace, joy, it is a blessing and as if I were in another country, being in the same ”, expressed the protagonist.

The delivery of the new home was carried out by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who highlighted that 84 Decent Homes have been built in this neighborhood and its inhabitants have benefited from different projects that have changed their lives.

“We are delivering Decent Housing today, to compañera López who is giving herself the luxury of opening a house in the rainy season, a new house, new walls, a new roof, a new floor and even new streets with hydraulic concrete, that's right. that it is very complete”, affirmed Armas.

For this year 2023, the municipality will execute with the Annual Investment Plan in this district, road improvement works, storm drainage, water and sanitation, as well as the construction of sanitary modules in the Carlos Núñez, Las Brisas, Motastepe, San José neighborhoods. , Batahola Sur, Boer, Juan Emilio Menocal and Villa Virgen de Guadalupe.
