









Families from the Las Jagüitas region celebrate with great joy the paving of 8 blocks that were on the ground and that form a new road corridor between the V and VII districts of Managua, providing progress, security, health and better living conditions for the population of this sector.
The road improvement work was inaugurated and delivered to the community by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who announced that this new street will link the Las Jagüitas region with the Milagro de Dios, Nueva Nicaragua and Villa Libertad neighborhoods of District VII.
Likewise, he explained that this work that is being carried out, through the Streets for the People 2023 Program, is advancing at a good pace with 36 percent compliance with 369 blocks of the 1,027 blocks projected to be served throughout this year 2023, with an investment of more than 2 billion córdobas.
Rueda, reported that the construction of this new road corridor had an investment of 5 million 940 thousand córdobas, turning 3 thousand 500 inhabitants of this sector into protagonists of rights.
It was a project for everyone, the residents said, "grateful to the mayoress, here we had no way out, in times of rain we got trapped, the children went to class muddy, it was very necessary," said Mrs. Karla Rodríguez.
