The road improvement work of 2 blocks with asphalt is being carried out at a good pace in the Oswaldo Manzanares neighborhood, located in the VI district of the capital, a project that was supervised by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, on the morning of this Wednesday, June 21.
These 2 new paved blocks are part of the 135 streets planned to serve in District VI, of which 120 will be paved and 15 with hydraulic concrete, as announced by the mayor of the capital.
"Here we have an investment of a little more than 1 million 400 thousand córdobas and we are serving more than 2 thousand 800 leading brothers and sisters, for this year we have 151 road improvement projects," reported Rueda.
Mrs. Miriam del Socorro Salmerón, with 38 years of living in the neighborhood, thanked God and the Good Government for this work of progress
“I am one of the founders of the neighborhood and these streets have always been in poor condition, we have always waited patiently for this work, thanks to God and the Government we are going to have these good streets, they have done very nice projects for us here, like the park where children have fun, knowing how to wait everything is possible.”
So far, the Streets for the People Program has progressed by 37.8 percent, which means 388 blocks served in the 7 Districts of the capital.
