New road corridor will connect residents of districts V and VII

Families from the Las Jagüitas region of Managua are very happy with the construction of a new road corridor, which will link this community of District V with the Milagro de Dios, Nueva Nicaragua and Villa Libertad neighborhoods of District VII, a work that is carried out through of the Streets for the People 2023 Program, which is advancing at a good pace with 36 percent compliance with 369 blocks, out of the 1,027 projected in the capital.

This road improvement work was supervised by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who expressed the municipality's commitment to dignifying the living conditions of families.

"The Streets for the People Program has an immediate impact to improve the living conditions of the communities, for which reason this year an amount of more than 2 billion córdobas will be invested in this program," announced Rueda.

At the same time, he explained that the work consists of the asphalt paving of 8 blocks, with an investment of 5 million 940 thousand córdobas, guaranteeing well-being and future to 3 thousand 500 protagonists of this community.

The leading families expressed their satisfaction with the progress in this sector, "very happy with the paving of the road in this community, because it will facilitate the mobilization of the population, since it is also used by the elderly and children who go to school" said Mrs. Marlene Hernández.
