With the aim of strengthening ties of friendship, cooperation and increasing commercial relations, municipal authorities held a meeting this Tuesday, June 13, with representatives of the Government of the Zhejiang Province of the People's Republic of China.
The delegation from Zhejiang Province was chaired by Mr. Wang Hongwei, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Relations of the Government of Zhejiang Province, who expressed his satisfaction at visiting Nicaragua.
“I feel very happy on my first visit to Nicaragua and this will be the beginning so that both parties can have an understanding of their countries, that they can advance in cooperation and better negotiations of Managua and Zhejiang, which is a province that is very developed and from where Managua, Nicaragua, can be promoted so that companies come to invest and see the panorama of the country,” said Hongwei.
For her part, Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado stated that this is the beginning of a strong and great brotherhood between both peoples.
“There are investors very interested in having agreements and Zhejiang is one of the 4 most developed provinces of the People's Republic of China, that is, we are talking about infrastructure, energy and technological development,” Rueda reported.
Also present in this delegation from the People's Republic of China were Mr. Li Daoqiao, Delegate of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Municipal Government of Hangzhou and the Executive Vice President of the Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of the People's Municipality of Tiazhou, Mrs. Wang Bei.
