






In greeting to the 44th anniversary of the Triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated this Wednesday, June 7, a new road improvement project in Villa Austria, benefiting 13,200 inhabitants of this community of District VII.
The Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, when delivering the work of progress reported that there are 4 completely new blocks, with an investment of 4.3 million córdobas.
"We are going to be investing more than 2 thousand 400 million córdobas in the Streets for the People Program, which is one of the most demanded programs in the neighborhoods and communities of our municipality," said Rueda.
At the same time, he explained that in District VII, 19 road improvement projects will be carried out and 135 blocks will be rehabilitated, of which 120 will be with asphalt and 15 with hydraulic concrete; as part of this emblematic program, which to date has progressed by 34.22 percent, with 351 blocks out of the 1,027 projected to serve this year.
Happy, the families expressed that this work improves their quality of life, "before the streets were difficult to navigate, but now you can walk in better conditions," said Pastor Rudy Espinoza.
