Villa El Carmen a sun and beach destination in the Department of Managua

The Tourism Cabinet of the Department of Managua presented the tourist and gastronomic offer of the municipality of Villa El Carmen, which offers sun and beach destinations, as well as nature reserves, for the enjoyment of national and foreign tourists.

Comrade Marisol López, Vice Mayor of Villa El Carmen, said that it has ceased to be a transit municipality and has become a tourist alternative, thanks to the support and accompaniment provided by the Sandinista Government, to guarantee the development of the municipality.

"We are a municipality of sun and sand, with 27 kilometers of coastline, where we have the Salaminas, San Diego, and Miraflores beaches, which are highly visited", Villa El Carmen has been standing out in different activities, thanks to this work and this orientation of Comandante Daniel and Compañera Rosario, that each one of the local governments is promoting tourism,” said López.

For his part, Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, Coordinator of the Tourism Cabinet of the Department of Managua, stated that the Tourism Cabinet has been touring this municipality, which is increasingly beautiful Villa El Carmen.

“Visiting the El Salto area, a highly visited place in the summer season and every weekend of the year, we also visited San Diego beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Pacific Pinolero and it is important to emphasize that it is only 62 kilometers away of the capital city”.
