A solution reached the families of the Carlos Núñez neighborhood in District VII

Another project benefited 4,800 inhabitants of the Carlos Núñez neighborhood, with the asphalt coating of 3 blocks that were built through the Streets for the People Program, filling children and senior citizens with joy, who had greater difficulties because of the poor condition of its streets.

With the delivery of the work, this emblematic program reaches 31.06 percent, for a total of 318.55 streets covered in the first 5 months of the year, as reported by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.

"We are in the southern sector of District VII, where these streets were impassable at all times, here we invested 2 million 400 thousand córdobas, there is a pre-school with more than 100 children and attention was urgently needed here," said Rueda.

The mayor of the capital, indicated that in the last seven years more than 27 million córdobas have been invested in this neighborhood, in storm drainage works, road improvement and in the construction of vehicular and pedestrian bridges.

For decades families waited to see their streets paved and today they celebrate this benefit, "30 years since the neighborhood was founded and the streets were always in poor condition, now this is an achievement, there is already access for ambulances and taxis, the population needed it”, said the protagonist Israel Mora.
