The merchant Mariana Tercero, shared that they will have fairs and dynamics, "we have offers and everything for Mother's Day, towels, cosmetics, it is a small market, but assorted, we also have to prepare the special food that is prepared for the Nicaraguan mothers.
Freddy Casco, General Director of COMMEMA, accompanied the merchants and explained that different works are carried out in this market to guarantee better conditions for merchants and buyers.
"We are making an effort to invest in infrastructure, we have changed the entire internal electrical system of the market and we are entering a process where each merchant will have their own energy meter, which will guarantee greater security, we will be installing gates during the year, we will carry out the last stage of waterproofing the roof and internal painting of the market, as well as repairs to the platforms and stands”, said Casco.
In the same way, he informed that in this year 2023, the Mayor's Office of Managua, through COMMEMA, has projected an investment of 80 to 85 million córdobas for the execution of infrastructure works, in the 8 municipal markets of Managua, to provide markets clean, beautiful, orderly and safe, where merchants and visitors feel good.
