Road improvement and storm drainage works concluded in the Gracias a Dios region

The Gracias a Dios region, located in District I, received the asphalt coating of 3.11 blocks, accompanied by storm drainage works that benefit more than 500 inhabitants of the area, who will now be able to travel in better conditions.

This was a critical point, said Deputy Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, during the delivery of the work, "here there were currents, quagmires, floods, difficult situations, emergencies and now thanks to a work of more than 17 million córdobas, we are delivering to the families today, the neighbors will enjoy these beautiful streets, these very long 3 streets, which are the first part of a project that continues”.

In the same way, he explained that the works, in addition to the streets, consisted of the construction of platforms, curbs, gutters, retaining walls, fords, tunnel boxes, manholes, pipes, 6 drains and rainwater boxes.

The inhabitants were happy, because the new streets change their lives, "before, honestly, there were ditches, holes, it was difficult for the children to go to school and now we are happy, because we already have a good road," said the protagonist. by Elena Vilchez.
