Residents of the La Hoyada region happy with their dream project

Through the Streets for the People 2023 Program, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua provided better living conditions to the community of La Hoyada, by inaugurating the paving of 5.3 blocks of road, which guarantees vehicular traffic and the health of 160 families in this sector located in the Sierras de Managua, in District I.

This work was inaugurated by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who announced the investments that the municipality has made in this region in recent years, where 2 road improvement projects have been carried out, last year the road improvement of 2.5 blocks of hydraulic concrete road, with an investment of 2 million 395 thousand córdobas and this year, the asphalt coating of 5.3 blocks of new streets, which had an investment of 5 million 670 thousand córdobas, for a total investment that exceeds 8 millions of cordobas; in addition to the construction of 4 decent homes.

He also pointed out that with these 5.3 blocks the Streets for the People 2023 Program reaches 292 blocks served, of the 1,027 projected to be served in the year, which represents 28.5% of compliance.

They will no longer suffer from the dust storms, from the mud in the winter season, the road was impassable, the residents affirmed, "we feel happy, this is a dream project from our grandparents, parents, we all expected it, thanks to our mayor's office with our government, bringing this great benefit to our community”, said Don Marvin Maltez.

With the Streets for the People 2023 Program, it is planned to execute 151 projects in 105 neighborhoods of the capital and provide attention to 927 asphalt blocks and 100 hydraulic concrete blocks. This emblematic program will invest 2 thousand 440 million 949 thousand 333 córdobas, to serve the 1 thousand 027 blocks projected for this year.
