Once again, the discipline of swimming met the expectations of 112 athletes who participated in the III National Amateur Swimming Championship "Nicaragua Paz y Dignidades", held on the afternoon of this Thursday, May 11, in the most modern pools in Central America.

During this competition, INATEC technical students participated, fans of swimming and who come from the different technological centers of the country, including Jinotepe, León, El Sauce, Boaco, Granada, Rivas, Puerto Cabezas and Managua, as Vice Mayor Enrique shared. Rose Arms.

"They are going to compete as novice swimmers, only in the 50-meter freestyle category, and in order to stimulate participation, not only will the gold, silver, and bronze medals be awarded to the three best places, but to the six, in order to motivate the participation of all these colleagues in this great event, in this beautiful discipline of swimming”, affirmed Armas.

The sporting event took place in the male and female categories, where amateur athletes demonstrated their skills to obtain first places.

Walter Sáenz, Deputy Director of INATEC, expressed that this third edition commits them to make the fourth one better, "so that we can excite more young people, not only in swimming, in everything that sports means, because technical education is important, but a comprehensive education with values is even better and that is what our government promotes”.

The preparation of the competitors was in charge of outstanding coaches, who provided them with all the knowledge and techniques to give their best in this tournament.
