The Mayor's Office of Managua delivered to the families of the San Patricio neighborhood, located in District III, the rehabilitation works carried out in the field and park of this community, the project is part of the "Special Plan for fields and parks", carried out by the municipality annually to maintain community leisure and recreation areas.
These executed works were carried out through the Annual Investment Plan and have an investment of 339 thousand 921 Córdobas, which benefits more than 2 thousand protagonists who live in the surroundings.
Jennifer Porras López, Secretary of the Municipal Council, when delivering the improvements to the inhabitants, highlighted the different projects that the commune has carried out for the benefit of the community good.
“Delivering these renovation works to the families, which consists of the entire rehabilitation of the fence in the west sector of the park, practically all new, which is the painting of all the metallic infrastructure, the poles, we have installed new benches in the park , 6 new luminaires, which was one of the requests they made to us,” Porras asserted.
Within the scope of the works are: the construction of platforms and curbs, so that the population moves safely, mainly children, pregnant women and the elderly, all the children's games and the gymnastics area were attended to.
Ermida Rivas, a resident of San Patricio, stated that it is a great benefit for the children who are the darlings of the Revolution.
"The commitment now is to take care of it, that they do not damage the meshes and live pending, that criminals do not come, we have to take care of this that we did not have before and today it is a reality thanks to the project of changes that our government of Unity and Reconciliation has been carrying out" Rivas said.
The parks that will be renovated with the special plan in this month of May are: Rigoberto López Pérez Park, El Güegüense, Ciudad Belén, Campo Deportivo San José, Las Enramadas, San Luis Baseball Stadium, Ángel Rafael Ríos and Argentina Park. With this renovation plan, 80 parks will be served throughout the year, with an investment of 123 million 600 thousand córdobas.
