










The Bismarck Martínez Program participated in the first National Housing Fair, which was held this Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23, at the Olof Palme Convention Center, which was attended by more than 8,700 people.
The Fair was organized by the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, with the aim of promoting access to social interest housing for those families who have nowhere to live. Invur, as the main organizer, Inifom, Managua Mayor's Office participated in it , Inatec, Mefcca, the Nicaraguan Institute of Culture (INC), four universities, 8 developers, 8 suppliers of construction materials and 7 financial entities.
During the opening ceremony of the event, Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, along with Invur Co-Director Gabriela Palacios, explained that thanks to the political will of the Good Government, housing projects that did not exist before continue to become reality.
“Talking about owning a home is talking about political will, is talking about a dream come true; These projects of social interest did not exist in Nicaragua and for this to be a reality it has been transformed from the laws, through the National Assembly, due to the political will of Commander Daniel and our Vice President, Compañera Rosario, so that more families have the opportunity to live with dignity, to have the opportunity to opt for both a plot of land and a house, in the case of the Bismarck Martínez Project that we carry out as Mayor of Managua”, said Rueda.
On behalf of the Central Government, the Co-director of the Nicaraguan Housing Institute, Compañera Gabriela Palacios, explained that the INVUR from 2007 to date has benefited 127 thousand families.
“Since 2007, through the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, to date, more than 127,000 homes have been built during this entire period; We have also managed to promote the placement of more than 9,000 interest rate subsidies that are applicable to a mortgage loan, through the national bank,” Palacios reported.
He also added that in this first Fair of the year at the Invur stand, a total of 800 people were attended, more than 120 homes were reserved and more than 500 people were pre-qualified, "that is, that in the rest of the week this day It will continue with the developers, with the banks, on the issue of formalizing each of the mortgage loans, we would like to invite you to the second National Housing Fair, which we will be developing in the second semester. This year's goal is to build 9 thousand houses”.
In the first national fair, 22 social interest housing projects certified by INVUR participated.
